The song in the title of this blog was old even when I was a kid growing up in New York State. And even back then, I didn’t usually see doggies in the window: I saw them on the street, being walked, or up for adoption in shelters. People who wanted pure breeds got them from breeders.
Dogs aren’t like clothes and mannequins, on display to be oogled by passers-by. Or are they?
It was still sweet to come across these puppies in a Paris window. I don’t know enough French to know why they were there. For the Mundane Monday Challenge#68.

You know, I still have a RED 45 rpm of that song. Ah, I remember it well. I hate seeing animals in windows though. I never go into the pet store.
