Mundane Monday Travel: Paris streetlights

Our first night in Paris, we arrived during a rainstorm and were greeted by a rainbow as we left Orly.

Taken through the window of a taxi, the Mundane Monday challenge in reverse: a transcendent object–a rainbow–framed by mundane traffic, roads, and buildings.

As we were coming East from the United States, it got late before we were tired. So we still went out exploring (and looking for geocaches, of course). We were staying in the city north and east of the prime tourist areas, places we would visit the following day.

The Mundane Monday Photo Challenge now asks you to frame your objects. The pedestrian bridge and buildings make an interesting frame for the rows of lights. And there is a sort of temporal frame as well, taking a picture of the same area at different times and in different overall light.
